Botanic Gardens & Centennial Parklands – CLOSED

Spending time outdoors and in the nature is beneficial for overall wellbeing. In the long summer holiday, Botanic Gardens & Centennial Parklands’s four sites – the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, the Centennial Parklands (Randwick), the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan and the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden – offer a range of fun activities for children of all ages! Congratulations to the winners of three double passes! 

Nature lovers will love the fun educational children’s activities for all ages, interests and abilities, ran by the Botanic Gardens & Centennial Parklands. We are giving away four double passes to:

Botanic Beats at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney

Learn some fabulous dance moves, then enjoy a day-time disco complete with fun dance games. This program is led by experienced, vibrant dance-instructors and is designed to increase children’s confidence, fitness, coordination, self-esteem, creativity, social skills and risk-taking.

Bush Food Hunt at the Centennial Parklands

Play a Bushtucker campfire game to see if you can find the right plants for the right survival situation. Discover how to read the land and explore the ancient skill of tracking animals and the story that they leave behind with their footprints.

Kids vs Wild at the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan

Learn how to make your own water filter, enjoy some dip netting in the pond to find water bugs and then finish off with some soaking water games – so be prepared to get wet!

Garden Theatre Bug at the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden

Sit back and let the talented actors entertain you at the Blue Mountain Botanic Gardens. There’ll be songs, jokes and surprises. Everyone can join in the fun on this interactive theatre adventure with these local Mountain Critters on a one-hour interactive roving performance.

The Botanic Gardens & Centennial Parklands are giving away three double passes to Botanic Beats at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney (each valued at $36, admits two children) on Wednesday 24 January 2018 at 10-11.30am & 12.30-2pm. Please note that the session cannot be changed.
