Kid-friendly Valentine’s Day DIYs.
Makes 10 (depends on ice-cube mould)
Heart ice-cube moulds or tray
½ cup water
½ cup red cordial
Add cordial and water to a cup, stirring to combine. Carefully pour mixture into ice-cube moulds and place in freezer. Once frozen, serve in cold beverages to your loved ones.
Tip: Place paddle-pop sticks in ice-cube before they freeze to make ice-blocks.
Valentine’s Day Card
Pink A4 cardboard, folded in half
Gold and pink circle stickers (we used around 40)
Draw a heart on front of the card. Place the stickers around the heart, covering the drawn lines. Fill heart with more stickers, overlapping them until heart is fully decorated.
Personalised Gift Wrapping
Paper-heart doily (found at most $2 shops)
1 plastic flower
Place doily at an angle on wrapped present, securing it in place with washi tape.
Place the flower in the desired position on or around the doily, and secure with washi tape.
Write a message to your loved one.
