11 Sep September Issue of CHILD Magazines
Say hello to our Spring September issue of CHILD magazines. This month we are talking about body image, sharing some fond memories and things our fathers have taught us as well as some party and nature activity ideas thrown into the mix!
In this month’s issue, we hope you’ll find some inspo for seeing the sacred in the mundane. Our lead story, Beyond Size, invites us to dwell in the truth that no woman’s body is ordinary and every woman’s body is beautiful.
What does your dad mean to you? This month, we asked some of the CHILD Mags team what gifts their father brought them in the ordinary passing of their childhood days. Not just one, but two of us, treasured the lessons in love their fathers still demonstrate in their 65-year marriages. Their dads’ secret recipes – to give 80 percent, expect 20 percent back, and to work at marriage every day – are something we can all try to emulate.
In Ode to Nature, we look at a beautiful new program that is drawing poetry and a love of plants into our kids’ day-to-day lives. And our Party Animal piece covers some not-your-average ideas to leave your child with special memories from their next birthday party.
Spring makes you want to get outside and explore nature and the great outdoors – so in our story Get Out, we are encouraging just that with some fun activities for little (and big) gardeners and explorers to take part in!
Enjoy Spring and happy reading!!
