We Design Our Dream Prams

We take style inspiration from Bugaboo’s customised prams. Matching our threads and accessories to these gorgeous wheels.

Our Digital Editor Barbara O’Reilly has made hers to suit the beach-mum/school drop off lifestyle and our digi creator Jenna Templeton has designed a pram to fit all her Auntie needs. Check out their style.

Babs goes from school pick up to beach

In the past five or so years of baby-ing, I have realised that sometimes it’s the tools you have that make your life so much easier. We live beachside and are out and about a lot. In the early days we lived in a tiny apartment in Sydney and my pram was like a second home!

Even though I’m coming to the end of my time with prams, (my youngest is now three and a half), I actually need one more then ever for this next year. My daughter’s new school is almost 2kms from our house, with both kids too young to walk or ride bikes, the pram will be back in daily use.

For a five and three year old, the side by side Donkey Twin is the perfect set-up, and of course the Wheeled Board is also a big must; there is always one who doesn’t want to sit! And let’s not forget the smartphone holder. It’s a work-from-home mum’s necessity.

I chose the Bugaboo Donkey Twin
Customised with…
Canopy: Soft pink + Grey Melange.
Frame: Aluminum
Extras: Comfort Wheeled Board, Bugaboo Tray, Smartphone Holder

And I teamed it with…

Monkey Halter Top + High Rise Bikini Bottom Gorman / Hat Zarlak Kids / Customised Donkey Twin Pram Bugaboo / Smartphone Holder Bugaboo / Hashtag Hat Milk and Masuki / Leopard Pons Slide Avarcus USA / Pink Retro Basket Zarlak Kids / Black Winston Regal Watch Komono / Mexican Clutch Lily & Cogs / Scoop Neck Dress Bohemian Traders

Bugaboo Style Guide on child mags blogI’m a proud Aunty of five (with two more nieces or nephews on the way), in the age bracket of 1- 8, so the Bugaboo Buffalo pram would be ideal if I was babysitting a toddler and older niece or nephew.

I live in the Blue Mountains, so the wheels are great for the country terrain and it’s always good to have a cosy blanket or footmuff on hand for those chilly days. The attachable wheel board would be perfect for one of my nephews, who loves doting on his little cousins – awe family love!

Aqua greens and pastel pink thrown in with bursts of yellow is a fave colour palette of mine. I have styled décor and soft furnishings in our home using similar colours.
