Hello NY! An Illustrated Love Letter To The Five Boroughs by Julia Rothman

A personal fave from my home book collection probably aimed at adults but kids would totally love this. I’m a big fan of Julia Rothman’s illustrated works and having been to New York myself, I just get a buzz from seeing all my fond New York memories in illustrated form; from all the cool street food, to road signs, buildings and shops. I recommend this book even if you haven’t been to New York, and no, I did not get to see that troll museum unfortunately!

My Awesome Sydney Adventure: A Travel Journal For Kids by Eliza McCann + Illustrated by Tinne Cornelissen

Author Eliza was inspired to create a travel book series for kids when she was on holidays and witnessed a child with their head in an iPad, instead of enjoying their family holiday. This kids’ travel book series aims to encourage little jet-setters to learn, seek and document their travels and in turn, learn about the places around them.

Atlas of Miniature Adventures by Emily Hawkins + Illustrated by Lucy Letherland

When I was a kid, I always enjoyed the travel books where each page was like a ‘spot it’ of facts and full of quirky info. The Atlas of Miniature Adventures would of been a fave for me – and who doesn’t love all things miniature?! This book is dedicated to all the miniature things in the world. I’m putting that tiny snow globe museum on my travel bucket list for sure!
