Movie Review: The Secret Life of Pets 2

The Secret Life of Pets 2

Full of the misbehaving dogs and cats this new film has Katie (Max and Duke’s owner) in her new life with a husband and baby Liam. Once again this film has the family taking a road trip to the country where the dogs meet Rooster the farm dog and learn how to be brave.

Meanwhile back at home, Max has left his favourite toy with his friend Gidget who loses the toy an apartment and needs to get it back from the hordes of cats resident there.

There follows adventure after hilarious adventure with the scenes moving from the farm, to the apartment and then to Pop’s apartment as the menagerie of pets (including wolves, a tiger and a hamster) go wild! All ends well, Max and Duke’s family return and Liam starts at preschool.

Sounds a bit familiar with the start of school but it is the start of the northern hemisphere’s long summer holidays when Toy Story 4 and Life of Pets 2  have been released.
