What’s On My Desk? Briar Stanley

What do stylists have on their desks? This was our fave Sunday Collector desk, so we asked the mum-of-one and interior decorator, Briar Stanley, to share how she pulled it together. To see her latest desk space, check out her home office post on her blog.

Desk

I purchased the Stationers Trestle Desk from Freedom on sale. It’s sturdy (and heavy) but so easy to assemble.

Chair

No.18 Thonet.

Mood board

I’m a big fan of the mood board when I look up from my screen. As an alternative to a cork board, I had the inexpensive pegboard cut to size at my local Bunnings. The white crinkle fan is from BHLDN. The ‘Sunday’ envelope is from Lulu Lucky (link removed) and the postage stamp/heart tag was made by me.

Decorations

To ‘decorate’ the desk, I basically raided my craft cupboard and had a play.

On my desk

My favourite perfume – the woody Wild Fig & Cassis from Jo Malone serves absolutely no purpose on the desk…I just like to look at it (and may even remember to put it on!). You might be thinking, ‘Where is all the ugly stationery?’…it’s in the boxes! I personalised white storage from kikki-k I already had with some coloured paper.
